FAQ: Shipping

Where are your print partners based?

Our hybrid fulfilment model combines in-house production with outsourced manufacturing. In addition to our print facilities in the UK, US and mainland Europe, we also work with more than 70 manufacturing partners in over 10 countries.

Where can you ship to?

We have global fulfilment coverage, which means we can send orders anywhere in the world, with the exception of a select number of US to US products. No matter where your customers are located, we’ve got you covered.

What if I need to change the shipping address?

If the order hasn’t been dispatched yet, you can update the shipping address directly in your Prodigi dashboard. However, please note that this option may not be available for all of our print facilities.

If you’re unable to make changes on the dashboard, please email us at support@prodigi.com, and we’ll update the address manually for you, providing it’s not too late for us to make these changes.

What shipping or courier options are there?

We provide different shipping and courier options depending on the product ordered and delivery destination. You can easily view these options on your Prodigi dashboard or via our print API.

What shipping options do you support?

We have four different shipping options, each with increasing price and speed:

  • Budget
  • Standard
  • Express
  • Overnight

Budget shipping has slower delivery times compared to standard shipping and is typically sent using an untracked service. However, all US orders are tracked, regardless of the shipping option selected.

Standard shipping may be tracked or untracked for most print on demand products, depending on the destination.

Express shipping is typically handled by a courier and includes tracking. This is a fast, premium service designed for time-sensitive deliveries.

Overnight shipping is only offered by certain print facilities in the UK and US.

We strive to provide at least budget and standard shipping options for all products.

Do orders ship with tracking?

Tracking availability varies and depends on the delivery location, product type and shipping method selected when placing your order. Generally, budget shipping is untracked, while express shipping is tracked. You can check the specific shipping service when you place the order.

To help you track your order, we provide an email with a tracking link when your product ships. You can also log in to your Prodigi dashboard to monitor your order’s progress.

What are your dispatch times?

Dispatch times vary depending on the product type and the print facility location. Most of our print on demand products have an SLA (service level agreement) of 1-4 days. However, our fast-moving global products, including our bestselling wall art products, typically ship within 24-48 hours, regardless of the time zone difference between the print facility and the customer.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Delivery costs vary depending on the product type and delivery location. You can download individual price sheets using our pricing and shipping tool, located within your Prodigi dashboard.

This feature enables you to filter by category, sub-category and shipping destination to generate instant pricing and shipping information for all the products in our product catalogue across all shipping destinations, allowing total delivered prices to be quickly determined.

Why are your UK shipping prices for cards more than the price of a stamp?

Our shipping cost covers picking, packing, handling and packaging. We prefer to include these service costs in the shipping price rather than incorporate them into the product price.

Our approach prioritises simplicity – one flat rate regardless of the number of items or the destination within the UK, including offshore or channel islands. We believe this provides the best overall customer experience.

Do you ship to P.O. Box addresses?

In most cases, we can ship to P.O. Box addresses. However, there are a couple of exceptions:

  • Couriers including FedEx, UPS and DPD cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses
  • Our framed prints and canvas prints are often too large to be delivered to P.O. Boxes (except in AU)

How does pricing work when shipping multiple items?

Our shipping models usually include a column that displays the costs for shipping additional items. Many of our rolled prints have a flat shipping rate, regardless of the quantity ordered.

When print on demand products are sourced from multiple print facilities, the individual shipping costs will be combined.

Why hasn’t my order been delivered yet?

All items have estimated delivery times shown in our price lists to give you an idea of how long it typically takes to deliver a product to various countries around the world. However, several factors could delay delivery times, including:

  • Mistyped or incorrectly formatted address
  • Customs and import restrictions
  • Failed delivery attempts (e.g., no one home to receive the order)
  • Postal strikes
  • Other adverse conditions (such as storms and natural disasters)

If there is a significant delay with your order, our customer services team will typically address this proactively. Alternatively, if an order is outside the expected delivery window, please contact support@prodigi.com for additional information.

Occasionally, orders do get lost in the mail, which we find occurs more often when shipping untracked to less common destinations. In the event that an order is not received within 30 days of placing the order, we’ll be more than happy to send a replacement. Just let us know at support@prodigi.com, and we’ll make the arrangements on your behalf. Please note, however, that we cannot offer free replacements for orders not received due to an incorrect address.

What happens if a product is damaged in transit?

If a product is damaged during shipping, we ask that you provide a photo of the damaged goods. Once we receive the photo, we’ll gladly send a free replacement.

Where will my order be shipped from?

Upon receiving your order, our print API automatically routes it to the fulfilment centre nearest to your customer for printing, packing and shipping, resulting in shorter shipping distances, faster delivery times and less environmental impact.
